Adam Suzin – Director of Photography

Born in 1992 in Warsaw, Adam is a graduate of the Cinematography Department at the prestigious Łódź Film School. During his studies, he shot around 30 short films, both fiction and documentary. His latest short, "Crocodile" directed by Dawid Bodzak, premiered at the 76th Cannes Film Festival as part of the Semaine de la Critique.


While still a student, Adam worked as the DoP and camera operator on Hot and Cold by Marta Prus – a 30-minute single-take film. This collaboration continued with Prus on her feature documentary debut, "Over the limit"which earned widespread acclaim. The film won Best Cinematography at the 58th Krakow Film Festival and earned Adam the Best Documentary Cinematography Award from the Polish Society of Cinematographers. 

In recent years, Adam has been involved in several international co-productions. He served as director of photography on two feature films: "Father", a Slovak-Czech-Polish production directed by Tereza Nvotová, and "Exotic", directed by Sonja Orlewicz-Zakrzewska. Most recently, he completed principal photography on "Nepela", another Slovak-Czech-Polish co-production directed by Gregor Valentovič.

Alongside his work as a cinematographer, Adam also contributes as a II unit DoP, camera operator on high-profile international productions. His credits include Sweat (dir. Magnus von Horn, produced by Lava, Canal+, Zentropa), Broad Peak (dir. Leszek Dawid, Netflix), and acclaimed TV series such as The Woods (Netflix), Warszawianka (HBO), Eastern Gate (dir. Jan P. Matuszyński, HBO Max), and Becoming Elizabeth (Lionsgate, UK). 

Adam strives to develop a visual language that evokes emotion and resonates with the story. He embraces both modern technologies and analog formats to create compelling and immersive visual experiences.
